Practice Areas

Samantha Ricci is an associate at Royer Caramanis PLC, where she practices in the areas of business, banking, and, primarily, real estate. She is focused on providing effective and diligent representation to meet her clients’ legal needs. She has handled hundreds of residential real estate purchases and sales, and she has helped her clients navigate a wide variety of real estate matters, such as contracts, easements, leases, commercial and construction loans, title issues, and residential development.

Sam is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Allegheny College, with a double major in both English and History and a minor in Medieval and Renaissance Studies. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the William & Mary School of Law in beautiful, historic Williamsburg, where she fell in love with Virginia.

After graduating from law school, she clerked for the Honorable Shad Connelly of the Erie County Court of Common Pleas before joining a small firm in rural western Virginia, where she focused her practice primarily in real estate and elder law. During her time in western Virginia, she also served as the president of the local Bar Association and served on the board of directors of a nonprofit shelter for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Sam is a member of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Bar Association and served on the board of directors for her Homeowners’ Association. She enjoys reading, history, traveling, and going on adventures with her dogs, Zeno and Pepper.
